Sonja and Andrey are two lonely socially awkward souls who meet by chance in a café in this intoxicating, very funny comedy, and deeply human love story.  Afterplay performances have been at Nyack’s Phoenix Festival, and Studio 9 in New York City, Suffern, Spring Valley, with upcoming performance of Afterplay in Pennsylvania and Nyack’s Magical Rose Hall at Prohibition River restaurant.

Afterplay is directed by NYIT and Phoenix Festival Award winner, Karen Case Cook and stars two Off Broadway theatre legends and Hudson Valley residents, Elise Stone and Craig Smith.  Stone was identified as “person of the year” by NYTheatre.com, and winner of the International Sipario Award and praised by Theaterscene as “one of contemporary theater’s most accomplished performer.” NYC Timeout calls  Craig Smith “Undoubtedly one of New York's best comic actors,” and playgoer.com says Smith is “A downtown  legend" and  The New York Times says Smith is "One of our most consistently fine actors.”
The 60-minute comedy will be followed by a talkback with actors and director.
