Celebrate the right to read with the Valley Cottage Library’s Banned Books Week Read-a-Thon and the reveal of our Banned Books Trading Cards.
From 1-6pm we will have members of our community reading aloud from books that have been banned or challenged. Books will be read in 5 minute increments (click here to sign up to be a reader).
Each community member that participates by reading will be entered into a raffle for banned books goodies.

3:00-4:00pm Anything Goes
4:00-5:00pm Children’s Storytime – bring your kids!
5:00-6:00pm Books for Teens
6:00-8:00pm Banned Books Trading Cards Reveal

The original works from the trading card decks will be on display in our gallery.
Trading card decks will be available for purchase.
