Join the Valley Cottage Library’s Summer Reading Club by registering below! Daily reading habits help children retain information they have learned. Registration and daily reading recording starts JUNE 30, and August 9 is the last day to record books read.
The Club is open to all children from infants to children entering 5th grade.
Read books at home & keep track of your reading on your reading log. Younger non-readers can record books read to them, or Early Literacy Activities that they do together with an adult.
For every 10 days that children read or do an Early Literacy Activity, they will earn their choice of one prize, which they can collect at the Children’s Desk.
To print Reading Logs, go to the SRC webpage, or pick them up in the Children’s Room.
Please enter your child's grade in September 2025 below, if applicable. (PreK - 5th)
6th Graders and older can join the Teen or Adult Summer Reading Club.
