This concert has moved to Sunday, January 4 at 1:30pm
In the art song and opera aria appreciation class we will be breaking down a few components of what makes the art form so delicate, grandiose and beautiful. We will touch briefly on the historical context, the musical context and the emotional psychological and human aspect of the music. In addition, I will be performing each of the songs that are talked about in the PowerPoint as well as additional music. So this will be a more immersive way of understanding, opera arias, and art songs through presentation and performance.
