Concert: Classical Guitar with Jack Marcin

Jack Marcin Wisniewski is a Polish guitarist and composer whose musical journey began with a rescued guitar in 2000. He earned a Master’s degree in classical guitar performance from the City University of New York and received a Fulbright Scholarship for music therapy research in Switzerland, where he collaborated with the Orchestra Mangolinistica di Lugano. As the bandleader of Grupo Aurora, he has been a vital force in New York's Latin music scene, blending traditional and contemporary sounds. In 2023 and 2024, he completed a world tour through Switzerland, Italy, The USA, and Poland, submitted his recording Lágrima for Grammy nomination, and released his first CD, Clásico.  His work has involved collaborations with the Polish Consulate in New York, The Ukrainian Institute Of America, and the Kosciuszko Foundation, showcasing his dedication to cultural diplomacy through music.
