Pianist Renée Guerrero celebrates the centennial of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue in performance and will also play his shorter solo piano works. The program will also include rarely performed piano works by his confidante and romantic partner, Kay Swift, the first successful female composer on Broadway. Songs written by Gerswin and Swift will be sung by chanteuse Artemisia LeFay.
